Chaplain's Message

We all must pray for our Troops and their safe return home to their families.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this most memorable summer, for many of our children these thoughts and pictures will stay with them forever.  Though it may not be the true reason, I find myself saying and believing this is one of your ways of rewarding us for our conservation efforts.

As we prepare to enter the fall season and you bring forth your palette of colors and transform the waters edge into a fantastic mural for all to admire, before we put away our summer toys, Lord help us to realize that you have been good to us and for this we most humbly thank you.

Now it is our turn.  Let us be good to someone and have God love us even more.  Here are a few basic ideas:  visit someone sick, pray for someone needing God's help, help a child learn about God and nature (God's creations), support your church, help a neighbor or friend, help a stranger (an unknown friend).  This list could fill many pages.  Make your own, PLEASE.  God will know either way - it's up to you.

The fall season is creeping in on us and this is a time when some of us rededicate ourselves to church.  God wants us to have fun and enjoy life but do this by always keeping him in our hearts.

GO TO A CHURCH OF YOUR CHOICE.

Amen
