CHESAPEAKE COMMODORES CLUB

CHAPLAIN’S MESSAGE

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for all of Your blessings You have bestowed upon us, most recently the trip to and from Ocean City for the 3 C’s Ball. While there You enabled us to to live up to what our founders declared when forming the Chesapeake Commodores Club. We truly did “promote good fellowship and friendship among Past Commodores and their clubs.” Now Lord, we ask You to help us to apply this same good fellowship and friendship in our daily life, in the work place, in our neighborhoods and at church.

With Your help Lord, Commodore Bob, his Bridge and his Board will do a magnificent job in helping our organization to “promote good fellowship & friendship” while continuing to grow and prosper. Help us all to understand this is a great responsibility, and if called upon we should do all we can to assist.

Lord, thankfully we have had a very mild winter. Most of us have not had to do any shoveling, for which we are most grateful. Each day we are one day closer to Spring and the renewal of all Your creations. The earth shall renew itself under your awesome power.

Dearest Lord, please protect and guide our servicemen and women, both here and abroad. Help them to come home soon to their loved ones.

For all the blessings already received and those that may be forthcoming, we all most humbly thank You.

May the sick be healed and the healed praise You.

Amen,

Joan Anderson
